Multisite for different folder outside folder of WP installation

I have installed wp in a sub-folder of main website ex. mysite.com/blog. Now I want to create a country specific site in another subfolder of my website say mysite.com/new . Can I run multiple site network on new folder using WP installation in my blog folder. please advise . Thanks in advance.
