  • Hello,

    I have a question about a domain mapping issue. WordPress is installed in a directory on a subdomain. The subdomain(site.gafas.be) isn’t really being used, WP installs are always in a directory on the subdomain. In the future we want to add sites to the same subdomain install.

    Main domain: “site.gafas.be” (this is a fictional domain, can’t show the real one)

    Development multisite setup:
    NL (1) -> “site.gafas.be/wp/” (main site)
    FR (2) -> “site.gafas.be/wp/fr/” (specific FR content)

    Live sites:
    NL (1) -> “site.gafas.be/wp/” (default)
    FR (2) -> “site.otherdomain.be/wp/” (other domain, directory)

    Is it possible to map the FR domain like this?

    It will need a subfolder installation of WordPress

    NL (1) -> “site.gafas.be/wp/” (default)
    FR (2) -> “site.otherdomain.be/wp/” (other domain, directory)

    I think this can be done using default multisite behavior. You have to just create two subsites.

    Thanks

    i think so, with the multilingual plugin
