Multisite does not detect homepage and redirects to homepage

    I got a multisite installation with multiple different domains. I added a new domain and whenever I try to visit its homepage it redirects to the main page of the main site (id=1). If I visit any page other than its homepage it works fine.

    There is no redirection in place and htaccess has been checked and does not play any role. The request is being correctly passed to index.php.

    What could be the reason wordpress will not recognise a secondary site’s homeurl and redirect to main blog site? It does this only for the homepage of the new site. The siteurl/home are correct. I’ve compared the settings of this site to other sites on the same wordpress multisite installation and they are identical..

    I found the issue. In case someone else comes across the same problem:
    The guid of the homepage was wrong.. 🙂

    ok apparently this didn’t fix the problem…im open to suggestions

    it only works in Edge..
