Multisite directory for page (not widget)

I created a landing page for my multisite network on my main blog and would like to show a clickable list of all sites on my network, with latest posts for each, and latest comments, if possible. I know there are widgets available but I don’t want this information in a side column, and I only want it to appear on my landing page – not on all other sites in my network or throughout the main blog. Is there a way to do this? It seems pretty basic so I’m surprised I could not find anything about it in searches. Thanks to anyone that can help me!
