 * Just wondering whether in a multisite install with Wordfence enabled, whether
each site should have it’s own set of wp_x_wf_* tables?
 * I’ve just used [NS Cloner](https://wordpress.org/plugins/ns-cloner-site-copier/)
to dupe a root site 4 times, and it’s slavishly cloned a full set of wp_n_wf*
tables for each site. Wondering if I can safely delete these?
 * Combined with the ongoing issue of being unable to purge the logs / status /
hits tables, and I’ve had a bit of a database blowout; be nice to prune if possible.

 * If it were me, I would export the settings from the original site, install a
fresh copy of wordfence on the new one, then import the old settings. I don’t
believe we have multiple tables for sites, at least in my experience. Are they
   domain mapped or anything?

 * The clones are within a network (ie they are multisite subsites).
 * ie main site is example.com
    subsites are xyz.example.com , abc.example.com etc
 * Wordfence is installed and network-activated, so it appears in the Network admin
plugins, but not in the subsites’ plugin lists.
 * Is installing it individually for each network site required, in order for it
   to protect them?

 * No. Wordfence is installed once for each multisite instance. I’d go back and
   do this:
This will remove all settings so export them (options page at bottom)
and save the provided key so you can import them later. On the options page select
the option (near bottom) that says “Delete Wordfence tables and data on deactivation?”
Uninstall normally through wordpress admin FTP to your webserver and ensure that
there is no wordfence foldr in the plugins folder If you have database access
verify that the wordfence tables are removed. Reinstall wordfence from the wordpress
admin Try a new scan Import your settings. Let me know if this works.
