    Good day,
I like your plugin. I installed it in a multisite installation and setted specific menu items for roles.
on the left side I able to show or hide items, but nothing change on the right side.

login with role credential only some menu items are visible..
how can I fix this issue?
    many tks in advance.
    Dario

Thank you for your kind words!

Your issue with Revolution Slider is related to https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cant-add-plugin-access-to-client-role/

For Revolution Slider specifically, however, they have included an easy way to allow other Roles access to the Admin Pages for it. If you go to Slider Revolution -> Global Settings and change the “View Plugin Permission” field to something like “Editor, Admin” or “Editor, Author, Admin” then the Editor Role will be able to have the Revolution Slider Menu Items added/edited/removed from its Client Dash Menu Customizations.

    Hi! @d4mation

oops.. it was so simple.. :)).. ok tks .. it works.. so, maybe, also for other plugins it is necessary to give role permission..however the are some plugins as https://it.wordpress.org/plugins/social-media-auto-publish/ do not allow to assign role to the plugin and it is not shown in editor customization..
anyway for clients basic setting to publish they own post are ok..

if you have suggestions to authoriza other plugins I will be grateful

tks a lot for you support and patience

In the case of that plugin, it requires the manage_options capability for its Menu Item which is generally reserved for Administrators. It is also related to this other ticket: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cant-add-plugin-access-to-client-role/

If a Plugin doesn’t expose a way to allow the Role the ability to access the Plugin Options like how Rev Slider does, your only other options are some custom coding or contacting the developer of the other Plugin asking for them to include options to expose it to non-Admin Users. It is unfortunately outside of the scope of Client Dash to adjust settings like this since every Plugin does this stuff differently (For example, Client Dash could try to allow the User Role to see a page, but if a different Capability were required to Save Changes on that Page it may not know to allow that).
