Multisite Content Management

Hello –

I’m new to wordpress, so I apologize in advance if this seems like a trivial/redundant question.

I’m researching a multisite setup, and I’d like to know which content management plugin would best handle the following case.

Say we have three sites offering a catalog of products from a single DB, but one site needs to exclude some items. The DB/list will be frequently updated. If it matters, the theme will be consistent across the sites.
