    Hi guys

I’ve been looking for an actively developed SSO solution for WordPress + Keycloak. Most of the OIDC and oAuth plugins I’ve seen haven’t inspired much confidence. Great to see this one is actively developed. Just have a few questions I’m hoping someone can help with:

    1. Is this multisite compatible?

    2. Does the plugin take care of role mapping / sync between the idp and wordpress? Can custom user fields also be synced?

    3. I’d be disabling wp-login completely and using Keycloak’s login page. That also means new registrations would be done via Keycloak. Will new registrations automatically be added as WordPress users?

    Thanks!

    Hi @menathor,

    To answer your questions:

    1. Is this multisite compatible?

Yes, WP SAML Auth should work just fine in multisite.

    2. Does the plugin take care of role mapping / sync between the idp and wordpress? Can custom user fields also be synced?

No, you’d need to write a bit of custom code to sync roles and custom user fields. It should be relatively possible though.

    3. I’d be disabling wp-login completely and using Keycloak’s login page. That also means new registrations would be done via Keycloak. Will new registrations automatically be added as WordPress users?

Yes, new registrations in Keycloak will be added in WordPress after the user signs in for the first time.
