 * Hey can you answer a few questions for me please.
    1. Is this plugin multisite
   compatible? as in can I network activate it or do I have to do it per sub-site.
   I have a few different subsites that will use this plugin but I want the data
   to be on one database but have the search forms in different subsites. 2. Can
   this plugin be modified to have an API call function for an outside database?
   as in if someone searches for information can the plugin query an outside database
   if that information is not available? I need an option for confirming someone’s
   ID number. The plugin would then have to get that info from a government agency
   database. Thanks Ro

 * Any way the drop down can have more than 10 field entries??

 * Hi [@ronniegregorym](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ronniegregorym/)
 * Please excuse me for my late response as I was too busy.
    As for your first question,
   I personally haven’t tried it on Multisite mode. So I’m not sure if the database
   can be accessed from a different sub-site.
 * As for your second question, yes of course it can be modified, however to get
   that sort of information you might need special permissions and credentials to
   access that database. The default state of the plugin is such that it can only
   access its own related tables in the database.
 * Cheers;

 * Thanks for the answer. What would you recommend about the modifications I can
   get the credentials from the governmental agency. also about my last question
   on the drop down being more than 10. One of the things I want to create is a
   scholarship database and would want all the schools in a drop down. I thought
   about having someone type in the school name in the search but saw that the search
   is very specific and people might type different variations of the school. So
   I just need a drop down of all the school and then have the form show all the
   scholarships from that school.
    Thanks

 * You’re most welcome:)
    For that purpose you should consult your IT guy to communicate
   with the respective governmental entity.
 * As for dropdown, yes it can be easily modified to accommodate as much as name
   you want **however **as I understood, you want the result to be shown based on
   school name. And it happens when the school name is changed from the dropdown.
   So basically the “Search Field” becomes irrelevant for your user interface. And
   this requires much more than a _small_ modification. It requires very extensive
   modifications to the current plugin. So you may want to look into much more customized
   plugin solutions which can accommodate all your unique needs. I don’t think you
   can find something on the opensource plugins repository that completely suit
   your needs.

 * No actually what I wanted is to eliminate the need for the user to type in the
   school name.. So they would choose the name from a drop down menu then just hit
   the search button and then that respective school data would show up. Or another
   alternative I am thinking is assign each school a numerical value so instead
   of a user typing school abc, they just type 0001 which corresponds to that school
   value in the database then press enter.
    What do you think??
