multisite – change def upload folder structure

    I was wondering if there is a plugin even this one that makes it possible to change the default upload directory structure from year month to just saving everything in the top upload directory. In WP before version 3.5 there was an option under Media settings to change it but that was first moved then removed for multisite installations. So now there is no way I can change it. I don’t want code hacking as I prefer something simple. can you advise?
