# Multisite and Default Theme Options

 * I’m using multisite and I’m trying to network activate a theme for all sites.
   The theme I’m using has theme options installed and I’m trying to figure out 
   how to set default theme options for all of my sites.
 *  All of the sites will have the same theme options, so I was trying to create
   a default. Is this possible.

 * Hello jlushene,
 * When activating themes network wide, you make them available to all sites, but
   you still need to activate them on the sites and settings are on a per site basis.
 * If the theme has this feature you can export/import the settings, but that is
   not possible by default. There is [a plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/options-importer/)
   for it though, but last update was 1 year ago. It’s not necessarily so, yet it
   could be outdated.
 * To export/import the settings in the Customizer you could use [a plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/customizer-export-import/).
 * It is possible to copy all settings, yet as far as I know only for new blogs.
   E.g. you could [clone a blog](https://wordpress.org/plugins/multisite-clone-duplicator/)
   or use a [blog template](https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/new-blog-template/).
   This last link is not a free plugin, perhaps you could find something similar
   in the WP Plugin Directory too.
