We have several sites, one that is multisite and the others single site. Updating from woo 3.4.7 to 3.5.0 works well on our single site installations, however our multisite installation has this problem:

The system status report shows 12 of the 14 tables as missing. In fact when I check the database, the missing tables are not missing and do exist. Please note database version does not update to 3.5.0, it remains 3.4.7
    —————————————————————-
    WooCommerce database version: 3.4.7
    Database prefix wp_
    Total Database Size 60.80MB
    Database Data Size 44.58MB
    Database Index Size 16.22MB
    wp_woocommerce_sessions Table does not exist
    wp_woocommerce_api_keys Table does not exist
    wp_woocommerce_attribute_taxonomies Table does not exist
    wp_woocommerce_downloadable_product_permissions Table does not exist
    wp_woocommerce_order_items Table does not exist
    wp_woocommerce_order_itemmeta Data: 1.52MB + Index: 2.02MB
    wp_woocommerce_tax_rates Table does not exist
    wp_woocommerce_tax_rate_locations Table does not exist
    wp_woocommerce_shipping_zones Table does not exist
    wp_woocommerce_shipping_zone_locations Table does not exist
    wp_woocommerce_shipping_zone_methods Table does not exist
    wp_woocommerce_payment_tokens Table does not exist
    wp_woocommerce_payment_tokenmeta Data: 0.00MB + Index: 0.00MB
    wp_woocommerce_log Table does not exist
    —————————————————————
The database version does not update to 3.5.0, it remains as 3.4.7

If I change our wp-config file to “false” for multisite and update to woo 3.5.0 the update works well and the system status report shows all the tables. If I then change the wp-config file (multisite) back to “true” the system status report shows “table does not exist”. My multisite Woocommerce is active for only one of the two sites.

    General system enviroment:
    multisite
    WordPress 4.9.8
    Server Apache
    PHP 7.2.6, Mem limit 1G,
    WooCom database version 3.4.7
    Total Database Size 169.89MB
    Database Data Size 140.20MB
    Database Index Size 29.69MB
    cURL version: 7.54.0
    OpenSSL/1.0.2k
    theme is Athena Pro.

Is there a solution at this time or a work around? I am reluctant to update to 3.5.0 at this time.

    Hi @miguelangel5000 and @mporraro,

This was actually by design. According to this pull request:

This PR makes it that when on a multisite and opening up the system status report it should not load all the tables in the database for the multisite, but only ones matching the current blog.

This should only affect the system status report; the tables are still there and working properly.

    Best,

    Ross

    Hey there @mporraro

As a follow-up – if you have updated the plugin but the WooCommerce database has not been updated – I’d recommend updating the database from the dashboard admin notice. It will look like this – https://d.pr/tOAdN9

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,
