Multisite 404 problem with subdomains

    Hello!

    I ‘m writing here because I need help. I have taken a look to a lot of similar conversations. The people gives different solutions to this problem, no one is working for me.

    I have a WP site (not a new installation)
    I have actived the Multisite following all the steps and with the code in htaccess and wp-config.The old website is perfect, but if I create a subdomain…

    1-At first, it says The requested URL /wp-admin/ was not found on this server., et, etc.

    2-If I go to the cpanel and I create that subdomain, suddenly, if I try to go into the Dashboard (of this new subdomain) it shows the access page of Cpanel. (It works ok if I put my user and keyword of my hosting server, but I don’t need this working here. I need my new multisite site.

    I, also, had a problem, in the old site, installing Jetpack after Multisite activation: It doesn’t work…. it says this:

    Error Details: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site’s XML-RPC URL. Please check to make sure is working properly. It should show ‘XML‑RPC server accepts POST requests only.’ on a line by itself when viewed in a browser and should not have any blank links or extra output anywhere. Find out how to fix this issue here:

    (And then it stops. It’s not explaining anything about where to find these tips…)

    I have pasted the message, because maybe my big-problem is related to this Jetpack problem. I have read that I have to allow an IP (from “Automattic”) in the htaccess file… but it’s the same. It isn’t working properly.

    Are you familiar with this issue? Could you help me, please? After 2 days, I’m a kid of desesperated… 🙂

    P.D: I have tried a lot of things about the “wildcard”, putting this asterisk in a lot of different versions…
    *subdomain.domain.com
    */subdomain.domain.com
    *.subdomain.domain.com

    And I don’t understand anything about this wildcard… Now I’m erasing all of the test-subdomains it has been created…
