 * Just wanted to check and see, what are the chances this could be made compatible
   with multisite? While I understand it could add a bunch of overhead to the plugin,
   it could be a killer feature for our content editors.

 * Not sure what you are trying to acheive exactly? You want to link accross content
   type and accross sites?
 * Otherwise you could activated it on everysite as a regular plugin…
