How do I make different layouts for different “Users” or different “User Roles”?

For instance, say I have these 3 Users: Admin, Editor & Author
Admin has access to “Everything” (Plugins, Themes, Settings…)
Editor: has access to only “Posts, Media, Pages & Comments”
Author: has access to only “Posts”

Is this possible? How do I do this?

    Hi @davidmpinkerton,

Unfortunately the plugin doesn’t support multiple menu layouts. You can only have 1 custom menu layout and then you can elect how this custom menu gets applied.

In hindsight I probably would have architected the plugin to make it more flexible in this regard, but at the same time the work involved in this wouldn’t have made this a free plugin – frankly the plugin how it is now it shouldn’t be free.

By using the built-in roles WordPress provides it should hide and show some menu items anyway. I believe there are paid solutions which do what you are describing though. Thanks,
