Hi @investcom,
We checked the page source and we also found that there is another title tag when we checked the page source. See this screenshot.
If you’re not sure what plugin or theme is adding this, you can do a test to see if this still happens if you deactivate all plugins except for Yoast SEO and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Nineteen.
We have a step-by-step guide here: How to check for plugin conflicts.
This is a Yoast plugin problem, how to solve it?
I can’t find the reason with the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin
@investcom Thanks for your reply. As for your response in that ‘this is a Yoast plugin problem’ we don’t believe that to be the case. Whereas the Yoast SEO plugin does output a <title>
tag, it only outputs a single tag for this, so is not responsible for the second <title>
tag being output (see image here).
In order to resolve this we would recommend reviewing your other plugins/themes settings and disabling their ability to output a <title>
tag, so as to remove the duplicate tag. If you are unsure which plugin is causing the second <title>
tag to be output we would recommend performing a conflict check and disabling other plugins and then reviewing your page’s source code to check whether the second tag has been removed.
We also have additional information on how to check for a conflict here: https://yoast.com/help/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts/
Can you confirm you have performed a complete plugin/theme conflict check by disabling other plugins, and resetting the theme to a default such as TwentyNineteen?
