I have tried the following set as OR and AND and getting the same results.
If I search for ‘Locking’, I get results.
If I search for ‘CPU’, I get results.
If I search for ‘Locking CPU’, I get NO results.
I should be getting results AT LEAST in Or mode, right?

Hi,

Yes this is correct. It should work when OR is selected.
Can you please share the screenshot of search setting?

This string “Locking CPU Enclosure” is coming from post content or post meta? You can include this field to search in.

I have it set to OR. Same results whether I set it to AND or OR.
The string Locking CPU Enclosure is in post meta and it shows up when I use a single term — as you can see in the attached screenshots.

For anyone else having this issue — it seemed to be caused by selecting too many meta key names. I greatly reduced the number of key names I was searching and it is now performing as expected.
