• Hello Mikko,

I’m aware that there is a seemingly similar post there https://wordpress.org/support/topic/multiple-term-search?replies=3 so I hope you wont mind that I created another as I’m not sure the needs of that poster and mine were the same.

Anyway, I am looking to create a multiple search system. The principle is the following. For example, a user would search for the terms “cute cats” and “green hats”. I would like the search to display all the posts including both terms “cute cats” OR “green hats”. That means that one post found by the search engine could include the term “cute cats” but not “green hats”. And the results of these searches would be displayed at once.

So basically, the results page would be a mix of several different searches.

I tried to read the solution you propose in the post referenced above but since I’m not a developper, so it was a little bit chinese for me 🙂
Is there a simple tutorial or a simple solution you could propose to me to acheve this?

    Thanks Mikko.

No, unfortunately there’s no simple solution here. Relevanssi isn’t built for this level of specificity (and to be honest, 99% of users don’t need it; actual user searches are almost always very simple, rarely more than one word or one concept).
