 * Hi, I was wondering if there is an problems or dissadvantages installing multiple
   website statistic plugins. For example, if I were to install
 * * StatCounter
    * SlimStats * Google Anlaytics (Yoast)
 * Would this be a problem?

 * The main disadvantage that I see is performance-wise. StatCounter is quite heavy
   on the database, and you will be recording the same information three times.
   I would just go with WP SlimStat, which tells you pretty much all you need to
   know about your visitors 😉

 * Thanks Camu, is there any reason why you suggest Slimstat over Statcounter?
 * We are currently running both and just wondering if we would lose any functionality
   over moving solely to slimstat.
 * Also, people say that google analytics is a must however when searching the top
   rated wordpress statistic plugins google analytics is not listed as one of the
   best…….any ideas why?

 * Well, I might be biased on this one, since I’m one of the developers behind WP
   SlimStat 😉 For what I know, StatCounter keeps all the information on their server,
   so if they choose to close their shop, you will say goodbye to your stats. Also,
   WP SlimStat offers advanced features like add-ons, event tracking (google+ clicks,
   facebook like clicks, etc) and much more. But the ultimate call, I guess, is
   up to you. You can keep both, WP SlimStat should work fine with StatCounter,
   but your site will be way slower.
 * Cheers,
    Camu
 * PS: a vote/review for SlimStat would be a nice way to say thank you
