 * Thank you for a great plugin. Is it possible to have multiple slideshows on the
same page, each with different timing and a different number of slides? I gather
it has something to do with metadata, but I can’t figure out how to set the slide
and timing parameters for each slideshow.

 * Thanks for trying my plugin! Yes, you can do this with [multiple slideshows](http://www.jleuze.com/plugins/meteor-slides/multiple-slideshows/).
For the slide quantity, what you set in the slideshow settings is the max for
all slideshows. So if you need 3 slides in one, and 6 in another, you would have
to make sure that the quantity is set to 6 in the settings for the larger slideshow.
Then only add the three slides you need to the smaller slideshow.
 * You should be able to override the timing [using metadata](http://www.jleuze.com/plugins/meteor-slides/using-metadata/).
There are [lots of options](http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle/options.html), but
you need to use “speed” for the transition time, and “timeout” for the slide
   duration.

 * This is awesome! Now that I’ve got the list of options, I am able to set the
slideshow delay for just the effect I was looking for (see [http://174.121.135.156/~diolex/](http://174.121.135.156/~diolex/))
Definitely worth an expensive cup of coffee! Thank you.

 * No problem, the delay effect turned out really well!

 * Yeah I like it! It’d be perfect if I could figure out how to get them to fade
in initially on page load (with the same staggered timing)…

 * It is possible to fade in the first slide, but I don’t know if it will work well
   with the delay: [http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle/fade-in-first.html](http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle/fade-in-first.html)
