    Hello,

I’m trying to set multiple rules for shipping rate calculation listed below:

    1. Max of 1 KM | Base = 0 | Rate per KM = 0 | (Free)
    2. Max of 5 KM | Base = 0 | Rate per KM = $1 |
    3. Max of 12KM | Base = $15 | Rate per KM = blank |

For the above third option we don’t want to charge per KM; but offer a flat rate of $15. Unfortunately this setting is not working ( the other two are fine )

How to set a mix of per KM charges and flat rate. I guess with zones i possible but the zone filter accepts only pincodes and not the calculated distance.

    Thank you

    Hi @dushyanth,

    I believe it should be:

    3. Max of 12KM | Base = $15 | Rate per KM = 0 |

Let me know if this solve your issue.

Thank you, it’s working now 🙂

Misinterpreted the instruction on the page: ‘Fill with 0 (zero) to set as free shipping. Leave blank to disable.’

    Hi @dushyanth,

I am glad to hear that it is working. And really sorry for the misinterpretation caused by the instruction. I will be very grateful if you can suggest a better instruction, I will be happy to update it.

    Few suggestions:

    • At present the shipping rate column is labelled as ‘Unspecified’ – This can be updated to – Enter rate per Kilometers or miles (similar to Charge per Kilometers checkbox)
    • Fill with 0 (zero) can be updated to ‘Enter 0 for zero charge per Kilometer/ miles
    • Leave blank to disable shipping rate calculation

My mistake ‘Unspecified’ refers to the shipping class label.
