Hi. Using Events Manager. Great plug-in. Please excuse me and send link to existing post if this has been asked/answered previously. Couldn’t find it.

I have two different categories of events. However, I display different fields on custom list pages for the events using the category short codes.

When I do a location search, I have no problem filtering for location or category. The issue is that both searches use the same results page.

Since my list pages are formatted differently depending on event category, I would like to have different result pages depending on event category that can be formatted similarly to the category’s respective list.

    Hi,

Maybe you could wrap the formatting in the conditional tag {has_category_X}? Would that work?

I’ll try that. I would put the conditional in the events-search.php template right?

you can put the conditional placeholders inside shortcode and/or formatting options at Events > Formatting > Events

also, just to make sure I understand your objective; you’ve wanted to have different format per category when you do an events search?
