# Multiple queries for get_option

 * Hi,
 * I noticed that there are about 12 queries with get_option each time I refresh
   page (Query monitor to the rescue ;o)) [http://prntscr.com/amq4fy](http://prntscr.com/amq4fy)
   those options are not present in database, therefore they aren’t autoload and
   with each refresh we have 12 additional queries.
 * This only happens if you don’t make any changes in default settings. So if I 
   install this plugin on new website and don’t go to CFDB -> settings and change
   anything, I will have 12 extra queries each time. And usually I don’t actually
   do that, as this plugin simply works from the start (which is awesome btw). In
   order to get rid off those queries I just have to click “save settings” in CFDB-
   >settings (I don’t have to even change anything, just “reload” it with save).
 * Is it possible to add those options to database on plugin activation? Since those
   options are necessary anyway?

 * What you mean by first access?
 * I just checked on some old website where I have this plugin, where I the only
   thing i did there was install it and activate it and nothing more (not even went
   to settings), and I see that there are 12 queries each time I access a homepage/
   subpage.
 * So at which point they should be added?

 * You should only see multiple queries once. But I’ll have a look, maybe I don’t
   have it right.
