multiple problems with new installation – related?

    Hi, I’ve spent hours researching these problems, but haven’t been able to solve them. This is my third WordPress installation, and the first time I’ve encountered problems.

    First, pages do not show up. When I browse to a page, I see the home page with first few postings instead. The pages are there in the manage view, but no way to view from the site.

    Secondly, previews don’t work. I can’t preview a post or preview a theme. When I preview a theme, it shows me a preview of the theme that is already installed.

    I’d really appreciate any help. I’ve exhausted all of my resources trying to track down the answer.

    This is a fresh WordPress installation. It was WP 2.6 I believe and the problems happened immediately. I upgraded to 2.7 but the problems persisted.

    Hmm, I guess no one could help . . . .

    I erased the installation and started from scratch. These problems aren’t present in the new installation, so success.
