 * I just installed WordPress at [http://kensclark.com/blog/](http://kensclark.com/blog/)
 * First of all, I signed up for Gravatar with my same e-mail and set my gravatar
   but it is not appearing for my profile picture on the blog.
 * Second, I looked under general settings but I can not find any setting to let
   users register and follow my blog.
 * Third, how do I add links off to the side of a post/page on the menu thing?

 * – Gravatar might have not updated their system yet. Give it some time to take
   effect
 * – Registering setting is in the general link under Settings
 * – Adding links to the side is down by setting up a widget and adding links to
   the side widget location.
 * Allowing registration and how users register is all based on the theme you are
   using. Same goes for the side links. So themes do not have this options and some
   do. You should study up on the basics and layout of WordPress before trying to
   go 100mph getting it setup.

 * So do I need to get a new theme because under settings I see NO option for allowing
   users to register. I looked on all of the setting pages.

 * Okay. I enabled user registration under Network Settings. Now how do I make it
   so when the user registers they will get a daily/weekly/monthly blog update?
   Or they will get e-mailed when I post something?
