  • (using the new 1.5 version)

is it possible to create a page – that contains all posts from a certain category. I was going to create another index.php page and only allow one category on the page – which would create the same effect – but now instead of jsut updating index.php i ahve to move to updaing two pages. is there a solution for this ?

  • You want to create a separate page for a category, but you don’t want the hassle of having to maintain a second page for a category?

If this is what you’re looking for a solution to, you could split the page into separate components and use the PHP include function to embed them in each page. For example, 1.5’s new theme/template layout has a simple index.php that loads a header.php, footer.php, and sidebar.php for these different page elements. Making changes to the sidebar or footer would effect any page that includes it.

If this is not what you’re asking about, can you be a little clearer?

i think i actually can do it that way – i have made a few changes to the actual index.php file – but i can easily do it the way u described thanks!
