• this counts as a pre-sale question too, as i’ll need it for the “Search” button.

i need to search for both Post and Media types (taxonomies and tags for both): is it possible to select more than one Post Type? is this a Pro feature too?

alternatively, is it possible to place more than one shortcode (one for each Post Type) in a page? or more than one widget?

i’ve enabled taxonomies on media (same as those for posts), and created a filter with Post Type = Media with a selectbox for the taxonomies.

i placed 2 shortcodes on the same page, one for Posts (created previously and working fine before) and one for Media, but placed together they always come back with “No results”.

i’ve tried the Posts one alone again, and it works.

i’ve tried the Media one alone and it does not work, no image is ever picked up.

    so:

    1) it’s not possible to use more than 1 instance of the shortcode on a page (i hope the Pro version allows for more than 1 widget in a sidebar???)

    2) filtering Media types by taxonomy does not seem to work
could try with (WC) Products, but i’m tired of testing, it’d be far more useful to get a reply from the author itself.

so i’m back to square one, waiting for someone at Profi to reply.
looks like paying customers on Codecanyon are awaiting for replies too: “Cannot launch client’s website until I know what my next steps are” (5 days ago, follow up from one posted 8 days ago).

hopefully the author will turn up pretty soon, cos that’s a bit worrying in view of a future purchase/support…

    Hi maxgx,
it is not possible to have two search forms on the same page, even in the PRO version. You can select more than one post type though. If you are interested, consider to contact me through https://websupporter.net/

    Thank you for your interest.

thanks for the reply @websupporter, good to know the Pro version allows selecting more than one post type, though the free version does not seem to work with Media types: can you confirm that?

i’ve activated taxonomies and tags on Media using the Attachment Taxonomies plugin: does that conflicts with yours? is that the reason why the filter does not work?
