• Hi,

I have two types of projects that I want to display separately, on two different pages (that are accessible from the main menu). When I set up both pages in portfolio format, I don’t see an option to select one type/category/tag of project for displaying. So, both pages end up displaying all the projects. Does harmonic allow such option to separate the projects for two separate portfolio pages, so that they display different categories of projects?

    Yours,
    Chelsea

  • Hey,

you can do this by using project type in menu. Go to menu and click on screen options and enable them and add them to menu
    See the screenshot.

Chelsea – There are three ways to display different portfolio projects on different pages:

    – By adding a portfolio type to each project and linking to a project type page (as Poonam suggested above – thanks, Poonam!) (more about project archives)
    – By adding a portfolio tag to each project and linking to a project tag page (see above link)
    – By using the portfolio shortcode and specifying the projects you want to display using one of the shortcode’s built-in attributes

You would do either of these three options instead of selecting the portfolio template on a page. The portfolio template will only display all projects.

Let us know how it goes or if you need further help.
