Hi @sachristan
Thank you for writing in, and we’re sorry you are having trouble with your popup settings.
We think there is a misconfiguration with your popup settings.
For Interstitial #A – Displays sitewide (does not display on ONE category), could you remove all the targeting rules and just add the selected category with the negative condition?
For Interstitial #B – Displays only on ONE selected category, could you remove all the targeting rules, and add the selected the category without the negative condition?
is there a difference between using OR & AND?
Yes, there is a difference when using OR & AND operator.
“OR” targets two or more conditions. While “AND” links two or more conditions together to require each condition to be true to show a popup.
Learn more about conditions here.

We hope that helps. Let us know how it goes, or if you have questions.
Thank you!
Hi Bell thank you for your response. I removed all the other conditions and set the sole condition for each as you prescribed.
Unfortunately we still get the #B interestitial showing throughout the site instead of only on a selected category ☹️

Hi Rob,
Thank you for your reply, and we’re sorry about that.
We made some test, and we did not reprex the issue.
Here’s the result of our test:

Could you share a screen capture of your popup settings?
On the other hand, here’s what we set on our test popups.
Popup A (Displays site wide except one category) – (!)Posts: With Category

Popup B (Displays only on one selected category) – Posts: With Category

Thank you, and we look forward to your response.
