[Resolved] multiple page not showing.

  • Hello,

    I have created a website using the wordpress (new to wp),it is basically
    a affiliate site and not a blog in my site I have added 5 separate page
    and set one of the page as front page/home page all the 5 pages are shown in the menu bar.But only home page is shown propely rest of the page I am getting 404 page not found message.

    my settigs

    Permalink ” /%postname%/”

    number of pages 5

    page 1 is set as home page by going to settings > reading > staticpage >page 1

    rest of the 4 pages published but shown in the menu bar but not able to navigate to it shows message 404 not found.

    Please help me with this

    Hi,
    Sorry I forgot to paste the link.Here is the link

    On the top menu bar it shows all the 5 pages only the tab
    “home” and “garmin nuvi 255 ” work rest of the tab will lead to 404 page not found . Even though I have published the page.
    Please check.

    Even I tried to change the themes and still not working .

    Finally I figured out what happen. Permalink that I set was not recorded in the .htaccess since it was write protected so I changed the permission of my .htaccess to 777 and set the pemalink again. Once the word press have recorded the required code in .htaccess I changed back the permission of .htaccess to 644. And the problem is solved.
