AFAIK it is not possible to have multiple maps in one page. is that true? can you implement this please? Thanks!

    Hi,

No, you can use multiple Map Blocks on the same page, no problems with that as far as we know 🙂

gutenberg does not allow me to place it a second time on the same page. its disabled!
and even if it would work, it should crash in the frontend. because your code is looking for document-id “map”. but a document-id should be unique. therefore it can’t work when its placed twice on one page

    Hi,

That’s odd. Here’s a video I recorded and as you can see it works perfectly well.

I’m not sure why Gutenberg would not let you add it 🙁
Is there anything in the console? Or any other info you can give us, a screenshot, video?

damn it. just noticed it is a different map block plugin. lol!! tried out a few. but at the moment i use a different. sorry for that!

No problem! Give ours a try when you get a chance 🙂

yes sure. i gave it a try but something was missing or did not work

checked it out again. reasons against:
    1. why api key? there is nothing to setup where api key is neccessary. you just use the iframe map. no customization possible. no api key needed for this
    2. therefore to few options like map styles, custom marker icon, custom controls etc
    3. api key field should be hidden (/placed in options) to end customer
    4. address is not accurate enough in some cases. custom lot/lang is something better

OK, thanks for the feedback … we added that to our ToDo list and we will see what we can do in the next update 🙂
