# Multiple Loops or something with Custom Fields?

 * Here’s what I want to do. One page has to have two columns. The left-hand column
   will have a video, and the right-hand column will have text and links. The video
   and text boxes have to be the same size.
 * Should I:
 * 1. Create two categories, one for the videos and one for the text, and then have
   multiple loops on the page, displaying each category side-by-side?
    -> How would
   I make sure that each video box is next to each text box from the same date? 
   2. Put the videos in a custom field and have them displayed next to each text
   box?
 * Another thing is, the theme has a “Latest Video” box on the front page. If I 
   use option #2, how would I make “Latest Video” stop pulling posts from the “videos”
   category and pull instead the latest video listed in the custom field?
 * Complicated, yes, but I’m hopeful.

 * This is actually done a lot. There are a number of tutorials around the web to
   help you. Look for help on “magazine style themes” and multimedia WordPress Themes
   to help you look at different options.
 * Any of these will work, but use the one that works best for your needs.

   Currently, it has a video box on the front page that displays the latest post
   in a category called “videos.” I’d much rather have it display the latest video
   from the latest post with a video in the custom field. How can we do that?

 * Would setting a unique tag solve this?
 * Maybe you can clarify the difference between:
 * > the latest post in a category called videos
 * and
 * > latest video from the latest post

 * Our site has a category called “Videos.” The box I talked about shows the latest
   POST in the “Videos” category.
 * I want the box to show videos specified in the custom fields of any post, regardless
   of their category.
 * So, if I had a “News” post that had a video in a custom field, the box would 
   pick that up and show that video, even if the post wasn’t in the “Videos” category.
