Multiple loops in Single.php with next_posts_link

I am working on the following:

http://airportroute.com/test/featured-artist/simon-latham/?r=1&width=1245

I know that a single.php is not meant for this kinda stuff, but… oh well it seems to me a miss-use of a click to display just one post.

Problem is that the “more artists” link at the bottom is not working.

I have a similar set up on http://airportroute.com/test/artists and there it is working fine. So I am figuring there must be a problem with the addressing of the page/2…

Any ideas???

If there is also another way to make this work by not using single.php then feel free to suggest that.
