[resolved] Multiple Languages (5 posts)

I am trying to figure out how to change my website to allow for additional languages. I planned on having a menu item that a user could select whatever language they would like. The problem is I'm not sure how I'll be able to change the menu items since they are the same language for every page.

I'm using the Enterprise Child Theme 1.1 by StudioPress theme currently. Any advice would be very helpful!

    [No bumping, thank you.]

There are many plugins to support multiple languages. Do a search of the WordPress Plugin Directory to find them.

I have used the WPML (purchased) plugin.

Have read this page about multilingual tool?

If your theme is translation ready and your site need CMS architecture without modifying or adding table, you can also test free xili-language trilogy...

    Good search !

WPML looks like what I want. How does the installation work? Do I just purchase it then upload it via the wordpress plugin page or is it any more complicated than that?

Thanks a lot for the replies!

See the How to install WPML article on the FAQ page.
