• Here is my technical environment:
Windows 2008 R2 Server running IIS
    PHP 5.4 on IIS
MS SQL 2008 R2 Database Server

    Issues:
I recently blew away one of my WordPress sites which was running an older version of WordPress. I deletde all the old files completely. I also deleted the dbatabase and made a brand new empty one. I downloaded the new wordpress code and placed the files in the web folder.

Since I am using MS SQL 2008, I then downloaded the newest version of the DB Abstraction Must Use Plugin from wordpress.org. I ran the db abstraction setup as described and it worked flawlessly.

I then ran the wordpress quick setup and it also seemed to work flawlessly.

I logged in and started messing around and quickly found out things were not working as before. Mind you, I had been using the abstraction plugin for several months on the previous version of wordpress I was running.

    Menu Issues:
The list of pages does not show up on the menu creation screen? Posts are also not showing up on the post list for me to add to the menu.

    Media Library Issues:
If I add an image to the media library, I am unable to come back later and view ANY images in the library although the counter shows there are images there to view?

Am I having PHP or WordPress issues?

I am also not able to view any content on my special wordpress pages? For example, the page that would display all the categories or posts says there is no data even though I know I have posts and I have categories created?
