 * Hi [@unwantedlife](https://wordpress.org/support/users/unwantedlife/)
 * I’ve seen you’ve mentioned having an issue when commenting on Jetpack-powered
   sites. Can you mention which specific device you are using? I’d suggest testing
   with another device and seeing if you are getting the same behavior.
 * Regarding the Like button, I’ve seen you have installed and activated the WP
   Like button plugin; however, that’s not our plugin, so we can’t assist with that.
   The Jetpack Like button can be activated by following the steps below:
 * [https://jetpack.com/support/likes/](https://jetpack.com/support/likes/)
 * To test the comment feature and see if this is a compatibility issue, please
   try disabling your plugins while only keeping Jetpack active, and then switch
   to a default theme such as Twenty Seventeen and do let us know the results.

 * Hi,
 * I have the jetpack like button as well as the Facebook like button, but it’s
   not just my site whereby the jetpack like button doesn’t load. It’s a really
   common issue that I and other bloggers I know have on there sites and the sites
   they visit. I wouldn’t have bothered mentioning it if it wasn’t for the problem
   with the comment box as the like function isn’t that important. But I’m sure
   all the jetpack using bloggers would like it to load every time.
 * As for the comment problem, I only have one smartphone so I can’t test it on
   another one. All I know is that it’s a problem with any site that uses Jetpack
   for the comments, only happens on Twitter’s inbuilt browser and Chrome on my
   android phone, but doesn’t happen on Opera Mini. It’s something about the Chrome
   browser that I assume Twitter also uses for their inbuilt browser that just doesn’t
   want to work with Jetpack

 * Hi [@unwantedlife](https://wordpress.org/support/users/unwantedlife/) –
 * Regarding the comment box and like button not loading on your site, I am seeing
   issues related to your site’s Content Security Policy (CSP). It appears that
   your CSP may be preventing our JavaScript from loading:
 *     ```
       Content Security Policy: Ignoring “'unsafe-inline'” within script-src: ‘strict-dynamic’ specified
       Content Security Policy: Ignoring “https:” within script-src: ‘strict-dynamic’ specified
       Content Security Policy: Ignoring “http:” within script-src: ‘strict-dynamic’ specified
       ```
 * Could you temporarily turn off those CSP components so that we can rule that
   out?
 * —
 * If that doesn’t fix the issue, there may be something else installed on the site
   that’s causing problems. The quickest way to figure out if something is interfering
   is to test for a theme or plugin conflict.
 * I know it’s less than ideal, but could you please try the following:
 * – Temporarily deactivate all the site’s plugins except for Jetpack and clear
   your browser’s cache.
    – Then try viewing the comments again. If they load along
   with the likes, then we’ll know that another plugin is conflicting here. You
   can re-enable your plugins one by one, testing in between, until you find the
   one causing the conflict. You can leave it disabled or reach out to the plugin
   developer for a fix.
 * If disabling plugins doesn’t help, it may be the theme.
 * – Temporarily switch your theme to a WordPress default theme like [Twenty Twenty](https://wordpress.org/themes/twentytwenty/).
   Then try viewing comments and likes again. If they work, then you know it’s a
   problem with the theme, and you can reach out to the theme developer for a fix.
 * Let us know how that goes. You can use the WordPress Health Check & Troubleshooting
   plugin to test this without making changes to your site’s frontend:
 * [https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/)
 * As for the zoom issue in Chrome and Twitter, that, unfortunately, appears to
   be an issue with those specific browsers. Could you review your Zoom and magnification
   settings?
 * Hi,
 * The comment box loads on my site, unless viewed in incognito mode. That’s not
   the problem. The problem is on every single site that uses Jetpack, the comment
   box does an extreme zoom in so I can’t see what I’m typing, as I showed in the
   link provided in the first post in the thread.that extreme zoom is the comment
   issue that needs fixing.
 * The issue with the comment box appears to be a specific issue with the Chrome
   browser infrastructure. The extreme zoom issue doesn’t happen on duckduckgo or
   opera mini browser. Something must not be compatible with your Jetpack plugin
   and the Google Chrome browser on Android.
 * With the like button, it’s other people’s websites that use Jetpack where the
   like button doesn’t load. It’s very hit and miss on if it’ll load and it’s been
   like that for three years. Some sites it’ll load, some it won’t. No matter how
   many times you try freshing, it won’t help. But return at a later date and the
   like button might load again on that website.
 * Am I really the only person that’s made a complaint about the like button issue
   in the last three years? It’s a very common problem that I know other bloggers
   have moaned about. I’ve had loads of conversations with bloggers about this issue
   over the years
 * Sites that don’t use Jetpack for there comment box don’t have the extreme zoom
   in issue, nor do blogs that use other platforms that aren’t WordPress. I can
   comment on those just fine and there’s nothing wrong with my accessibility settings
   either
 * Hi [@unwantedlife](https://wordpress.org/support/users/unwantedlife/)
 * We’d be happy to look into this further if you can provide more information,
   such as which specific device you are using, and the specific Chrome version
   you are using there. I’ve tried testing with two different android smartphones
   using the Chrome browser, and I couldn’t reproduce the issue as I didn’t experience
   the zoom issue.
 * I can see the issue with the Like button on your website; however, this is usually
   an incompatibility with a theme or plugin; that’s why my colleague had suggested
   you lure that out by reverting to a default theme and disabling all of your plugins
   except Jetpack temporarily, as you also seem to be using the W[P Like Button plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-like-button/).
 * Let us know more regarding the Zoom issue, and how things roll after testing
   about the Like button issue.
 * Hi,
 * I have no idea how I 2oukd even turn off CSP components, but I’m not fussed if
   the like button works or not, it’s not something I’ve ever cared about and it’s
   a problem I see everywhere. That’s why I have the Facebook like button when it
   doesn’t load. I’ve lived with that issues since day one as a blogger, as have
   most bloggers I know.
 * Given that you’re reporting that the link button is now a consistent problem
   on my blog, I’ll likely just remove it completely.
 * I’m not sure how fixing the like button on my blog would help with the fact that
   it happens on every single jetpack blog I’ve come across for several months.
 * I’m using a Vivo V21 5G phone. I can’t tell you what version the browser is on
   the Twitter inbuilt browser where the zoom issue also exists, but the Twitter
   app is Version 9.35.1-release.0. For my Chrome app it’s currently Version 99.0.4844.88.
 * I’ve managed to get my old OnePlus One phone working and the issue doesn’t seem
   to happen with that very old version of Chrome version 79.0.3945.93
 * Hi [@unwantedlife](https://wordpress.org/support/users/unwantedlife/) –
 * Turning off the Like button seems like the best bet then on your site if you
   aren’t using it. Unfortunately, we can really only work with you to troubleshoot
   issues on your own site since addressing potential issues will likely require
   site owner intervention (such as adjusting the CSP on your site.
 * As a next step with the zoom issues, did you get a chance to review your zoom
   and magnification settings?
 * [https://support.google.com/accessibility/android/answer/6006949?hl=en](https://support.google.com/accessibility/android/answer/6006949?hl=en)
 * It’s my understanding that in more recent versions of Chrome that there have
   been changes to do the accessibility settings that may be impacting this functionality.
 * Hi,
 * The settings are set to 100% text size and it makes no difference if you turn
   on the function to stop a website from forcing you to zoom in or not. So it’s
   not The accessibility settings, and I don’t know how it would be when it’s only
   an issue with Jetpack’s comment box and nothing else or why it would happen in
   Twitter’s inbuilt browser as well
 * Hey [@unwantedlife](https://wordpress.org/support/users/unwantedlife/)
 * Could you provide the steps to reproduce the issue and the phone’s system setup(
   Android version, memory, Chrome version, if you have anything installed as an
   add-on to Chrome, etc), so we can test it on our end, please?
 * Let me know if you have any questions.
 * My best regards,
 * Hi,
 * I can provided the chrome version again, it’s 99.0.4844.88. I have no add one
   for my android app.
 * The steps are simple, I tap a Jetpack comment box. That’s it. See the first post
   in the thread for a video.
 * Hi [@unwantedlife](https://wordpress.org/support/users/unwantedlife/) –
 * I had a colleague test this using Chrome on Android 12 (Galaxy S21+ / Chrome
   v99.0.4844.73 — I believe that this version is close enough that it wouldn’t
   likely cause an issue) and they did not experience the zooming behavior. They
   also tested on another site using Jetpack Comments and it worked without issue.
   Additionally, I would suspect that we would be receiving a large number of complaints
   about this if the behavior was happening on all Android devices.
 * That said, at this point, I believe that this is due to a device setting that
   is affecting Chrome and [the default Webview](https://developer.android.com/guide/webapps)(
   based on your system version of Chrome) that the Twitter app uses.
 * You might try resetting your Chrome browser to the defaults to see if that fixes
   the issue.
 * Hey [@unwantedlife](https://wordpress.org/support/users/unwantedlife/),
 * That seems the next good step to take as it looks device-related to us as far
   as we can see.
 * Let us know what you find out in case you still need our assistance.
