Support » Plugin: Import any XML or CSV File to WordPress » Multiple images in post

    Hi there,

Trying to upload a number of images from external URLs to a post. I know WP All Import will take care of the first image and make it featured. What I don’t know is why the rest of the images don’t show up. The images URLs were comma-separated, images were uploaded but they don’t show up in the main content of the post.

Nevertheless, if I’m using my images field as a variable in the article content, what WP does it to print the URLs from the CSV.

What I’m left with is just the featured image.

In the tutorial you’re presenting on multiple images (comma-separated), your images show up! But it’s kind of tricky because that’s not a regular post, that’s something completely different, so the images will show up in some sort of listing, CUSTOM made, NOT POST.

    It bothers me.

That makes the multi-image field useless for normal people, right? But promoted as multiple images and presented as simple!

    Hi @catalinfx,

What I don’t know is why the rest of the images don’t show up. The images URLs were comma-separated, images were uploaded but they don’t show up in the main content of the post.

The images are uploaded and attached to the post in the Media Library. It is then up to your theme, shortcodes, or custom code to display the images when viewing your post on the front end of the site.

For example, if you just want to display all attached images at the bottom of the content, you can put the gallery shortcode in the content area: https://d.pr/i/NooeJD.

    Hi @catalinfx,

I’m marking this as resolved since it’s been inactive for a while. You can follow up in this thread if you still have questions.
