    I counted no less than three (3) H1 tags, this is a really bad seo practice. There should be only one (1) H1 tag per page, followed by a H2 (I only use one of these per page). H3 – H6 can be use multiple times per page.

    H1 = Main heading tag
    H2 = Sub heading

    Nice theme but these H tags need to be fixed.

    It’s not bad practice, who said this?

    Go search google for seo and H1 tag use and I’m sure you’ll find more than enough information 🙂

    Just because a lot of people believe something to be true doesn’t justify it.

    Why not trust the people who made and run their own engine?

    Thinking the use of multiple level 1 headings is bad was very old-school. The Web is evolving. That thought will die alongside HTML4. In HTML5 you can have multiple heading level 1s.

    Hi Ozgirl and Andrew

    In the next update there will be a new custom header which will add yet another H1 tag. (The background and text header and the home widget area.)

    So the theme is completely space age! – But lacking in SEO!!!

    I completely forgot, html markup as a consideration, I was completely focused on the functionality and design aspects and totally overlooked something basic and rudimentary. (This is my first theme.)

    Not to worry though, the SEO markup can and will be addressed immediately, I’ll get working on that now!

    Luckily, the heading tags can be ordered easily enough and then I’ll just give each headings a new css class so that the theme will retain visually identical.

    Andrew, I agree that the markup tags are perhaps not as significant as people make out, however, the markup can be easily put right inline with best practices.

    The html tags Ozgirl, was something I completely missed, thank you for bringing it to my attention.

    The aim of this theme is to give people free access to a stylish mobile first theme for bloggers and small business’. Notice there is no pro version or any kind of marketing -that’s the way it will remain. Whenever something can be improved – it will be.

    Thanks.

    Ruairi.

    Hi there

    Just to inform you that I have changed the headings as follows.

    There will now one H1 tag per post / page.

    No h2 tags – subheadings are for the user’s discretion.

    All jumbo headlines are now h3 headings.

    The changes are currently uploaded and awaiting review.

    Thanks once again.

    Ruairi
