  • Yes this can be achieved. There are several ways to select images to include in the slider. You can include specific IDs or group by Media Tags. You can also specify a NextGen gallery if you have the Bonus Add-ons. The installation page describes the various shortcode options.

Thankyou for the speedy reply Bev,

I was able to achieve that. Keep up the good work. This was really helpful to me.

    Hi!

I’m almost there, and after trying five plugins, this one is the only one I’ve come close to setting, so I’m happy so far.

    However, I have two problems.

    ALL media showing.

I created a page where I placed the images from the media that I wanted to display in the carousel, which are my fiction books.
    Here’s the page:

    http://dreamalchemist.com/my-fiction-books/

I place this code in that page, as per your Quick Start instructions:

    [wp-flowplus]

Then I placed the same code in my home page. It’s half way down the page:

    http://dreamalchemist.com/

But it is displaying every single image in the media library, instead of just the images in that page.

What code do I insert in the home page to let it know that the carousel is connected to that particular page/carousel? Do I use the page ID? Is there a way to specify the carousel ID inside the code? Am I missing something?

    Size of carousel

I want to fit the carousel in the page width. But all images are showing up so tiny! In the settings, I’m already up to 1000 pxls width, with LARGE for image size, and the images are still too tiny.

    Thanks,
    Maria Mar

It is best to create new topic rather than adding to an unrelated, already resolved issue.

If you use the shortcode with no parameters it will load the images that are considered attached to the page. When you look in the Media Library list, the “Uploaded to” column indicates where the image is attached.

If you want specific images, you need to specify image IDs with the “include” parameter, or group them using the Media Tags plugin, or some other means.

Your image sizes look correct to me.

    Hope this helps.
