# Multiple footer widgets misaligned

 * Hi there
 * My theme has 3 footer columns for widgets to be placed. When I add only 3 “recent
   post” widgets to this things work fine, however when I add more than 3 widgets
   the sections are misaligned as the widget content seems to flow through to the
   next column and move the next column down.
 * Here is an example (the widgets should go 1, 2, 3 with 4 being under 1. However,
   4 flows through to column 2 and therefore forces 2 & 3 down to the next section.
   Is there anything that can be done to resize the widgets so that I can have multiple
   widgets beneath each other in the footer area without them automatically flowing
   through to the next column
