Multiple Day Events

Hi,

I looked at the FAQ and the forum, but I didn’t see anything that addressed this topic. If I missed it, I apologize. Also, I’m a novice, so I don’t have a full understand of coding.

I recently added your plugin, but I can’t figure out how to setup a multiple-day event.

Under the time and date, I picked a start date & start time and an end date & time, but it displays as a non-stop event without an AM or PM.

I want the event to display, at least under the event itself, all of the days for the event and the times for each day. Is this possible?

I’m fine with the event showing up on multiple days in the calendar view, but I don’t want to have separate listings for each day when someone clicks on the event or separate listings for each day in my sidebar. Is this possible?

Hello,

As you said;
If you create an event and set From – To on different days, this mean an event start on From and ends on To.

If you set From – To on the same day and add repeat every 1 day, you will have multiple separated events on list, one per day repeated.

You are wondering to make 1 single event on list holding multiple day seasons.
The solution is to use the EVENTS REPEAT AND TICKETING ENHANCEMENT.
You will be able to create different seasons and all session will be holded on the same event.
You can see the seasons list displayed on the front on this example

If I purchase the Events Repeat and Ticketing Enhancement, how does that display in the sidebar?

Also, what if I need each day of the event to show different hours and not the same time for each day?

i.e.:
Thursday 5:00 p.m. to Midnight
Friday 5:00 p.m. to Midnight
Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The addon will only make one change on your template, but on Single event view, nothing changes on sidebar.
You will have the session list on every event, with the full list of different seasons and tickets.
