    Hi Everyone,

I’ve just released an update of the plugin.

The above fallback method was impossible, since there’s not function that determines what template will be used. It just happens in wp-includes/post-template.php, without any function being called. Too bad.

HTTP Requests are simply not possible in some situations and there’s not other reliable way of determining what blocks have to be used (and keep the plugin simple to use for cases when it DOES work). However, I have incorporated a new admin page where you can switch off HTTP Requests and refresh the blocks manually. Hope this helps.

You can also visit this admin page to show ‘inactive blocks’. So when blocks are lost or not shown in some situations, you can see these inactive blocks and retrieve your lost content. Next thing on the list are revisions, so content won’t be lost.

Thanks for your help and I’d love to hear ideas on how to make this plugin even simpler and make it work in any situation.

    Regards,
    Harold
