We take a dozen or so photos of each senior athlete that they can select from for their senior banner. But instead of just allowing them to buy their banner, I want to offer multiple products. For example, banner, fathead, yard sign and/or blanket. So the customer would look at an image (product) but then be able to select 1 or more things to do with it. * I currently have things set up using the normal variations functionality. I’ve tested it and it seems like a great direction. But I’ve hit a bit of a wall. Maybe I’m just implementing it wrong? I created 3 test Simple products – they are “banner”, “fathead” and “yard sign”. Those are the 3 offerings I want to have for every image (at least in my test). Then I created a Group with those 3 Simple products in it. The Group is my main image. Then those 3 Simple products within the group are the options. The problem I’m having is that when I create an order, I get the list of the 3 generic Simple products but I don’t get any data on the Group – like the SKU. I need to be able to get something back from the Group so I know what image they are talking about.
