Hello @starrzan.
We will add for you the ability to change the logic for category filters.
I will inform you about the progress.
Hi Nick
Thank you for the response. That is great news, thank you very much.
Sean
Hi @starrzan
https://prnt.sc/t9wsoy – We have added a logic selection option, it will become available in the next update.
Or you can try it in beta: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1tBCqAaZ_aEm5rgE5avGBoXB3JotezKSu?usp=sharing
One more thing, for a future update, when I enable the “Show Clear block”, it works as expected but when I refresh the page after having selected an option, the filter loads correctly but does not show the “< clear” link again.
Also, when selecting multiple categories, it filters correctly, but on page fresh the listing does not load when more than one category was selected.
Sorry for the multiple posts but I discovered something else, which might be a bug or something I need to change.
I am using the Divi theme and when the initial list loads the pagination links adds the following query string to the current page address “?product-page=2” but when I select an option in the filter and the lists loads the new content then the pagination links look as follows “/page/2?filter_cat_0=299” which gets added to the current page url.
I am not sure which format is the standard but I would like them to be the same. Please let me know your thoughts on this when you have a moment.
Thank you.
Hello @starrzan,
“does not show the “< clear” link again” – We tried to reproduce it on our testing servers and didn’t have any luck. Most likely there is a conflict with your other plugin or your theme: https://gyazo.com/75d9a237ddf35312ba5131c755fc453e
As for the other two issues please contact our internal support team.
Hello)
I have been actively using your plugin lately. I am very pleased with the large number of options and customizable filter elements.
But I have questions.
1) With multiple selection of categories, how can I show only parent elements, what if there are child elements, they were collapsed?
2) If a parent filter category was selected, can I expand the selection to child categories?
Thanks in advance)
Hello @croslinkchron
Thank you for choosing our plugin!
1. We recently added a new option called “Collapsible” https://prnt.sc/tl9zt9
It will allow you to collapse child items.
2. We will add a new feature in the next release “Extend parent select”.
Have a nice day.
