 * Hi. when an event is assigned to more than one category, how can I apply all 
   of the colors to that event in list / calendar view?

 * CSS doesn’t work that way. It’s only additive for new elements. In this case 
   all elements are declared in each category.
 * You may assign multiple categories to events, but only the alphabetically last
   category will have coloring. This is where he “Hide” checkbox has value. It is
   for a category where coloring shouldn’t apply.
 * Bottom line is only a single category coloring will apply to any single event.
