# Multiple Categories on Upload

 * Is there a way to assign multiple categories on upload? I know you can assign
   multiple categories but you have to go in and edit each file which is time consuming.

 * Interesting idea 🙂 Never really thought about it, to be honest. It’s currently
   not possible to assign multiple categories on upload.
 * The way we approach new HappyFiles features right now is via community submissions
   and upvotes.
