# multiple blogs behave differently

 * I have three blogs (different db’s) running on one domain: English, Russian, 
   and Hebrew.
    I added str_replace to wp-includes/template-functions-post.php on
   line 54 to strip MS Word tags. The function works ok in the English blog, but
   not in Russian or Hebrew. Both blogs are exactly the same, I just re-installed
   them to be sure. Tried on two hosts with the same result. Any ideas, please?
