Hi everyone… I was reading up on how to add multiple authors to our site, and I’m aware that there is a plugin Co-Authors will allow me to do that, but I also have to edit the code to allow WordPress to show this. However, I’ve looked around and I cannot seem to find where that code lives. Could someone point me in the right direction?

  • Hi, thanks for posting.

If possible, please, send a link to the tutorial or documentation that shows what changes have to be made. We’ll take a look and advise from there.

    Thanks for the link.

This level of customization is, unfortunately, beyond our free support scope. In situations like this we do our best to offer advice but, unfortunately, can’t directly assist with the task.

The Vantage author link is outputted via the following function. You could use a child theme and insert the vantage_posted_on function into the functions.php file of the child theme and edit it from there, that’s one option.

Thank you, where does this code live within WordPress? I cannot seem to find it… Everything within wordpress is just their visual editing setup.

Ideally, changes should be made locally on your desktop via a child theme and then uploaded using FTP. You can edit theme files directly at Appearance > Theme Editor but it isn’t recommended.
