You have to enter the credentials for the root user. Although it’s been said otherwise. * There are a few other threads regarding this issue. I already described it above. * You registered as an Amazon associate and created a user for the access to the Amazon Web Services (AWS), right? * That is the root user. * For this user you got your access key ID and a password, which you were supposed to store in a safe place. * If you didn’t do so you will have to create a new access key. - Log on to [https://console.aws.amazon.com/iam/home?rw_useCurrentProtocol=1#security_credential](https://console.aws.amazon.com/iam/home?rw_useCurrentProtocol=1#security_credential) - Then Continue to Security Credentials - In the menu to the left select “Dashboard” - In my case there is a link on the dashboad telling me I should delete the root access key for security purposes. I presume the reason being a certain security policy missing in the user’s Permissions. * I have added the following permissions to my user’s policy, which obviously isn’t enough: - **AWSDirectConnectReadOnlyAccess** AWS managed policy from group shop-API - **AWSMarketplaceFullAccess** AWS managed policy from group shop-API - **AutoScalingConsoleReadOnlyAccess** AWS managed policy from group shop-API - **AmazonAppStreamServiceAccess** AWS managed policy from group shop-API - **AmazonAppStreamReadOnlyAccess** AWS managed policy from group shop-API * When I use such a child access key the AALB plugin says I am not registered to use the Product Advertising API.
