• The alerts is only going to my address (designer) and not client. I’ve tried only the client address, mine, client, client cc:mine mine cc:client and only when my email address is on there does it work. And mine has to be listed first.

Any ideas? I don’t get it. I want to use this plug in as I like that you can have the upload and the captcha, but I can’t if the client doesn’t get the notifications.

    thanks in advance

I used a daisy chain to get this “working” – I contacted go daddy and made sure the email was connected to the site. Then I added my email as a cc: at go daddy and changed the address under settings in WP to the client address. this way I still get WP notices etc. then I used the client address as the only address on the contact form.

this isn’t how I want it to work as now I’m seeing all the emails my client gets and can’t set his partner up as a cc that works from the contact from – here is the link

I would like to get this working properly – thanks

You could try to configure email using SMTP. Or you could switch hosting – we would never user a host that imposes email sending restrictions like GoDaddy.

RE: can’t set his partner up as a cc that works from the contact from

You can add multiple email addresses separated by commas (NOT semicolons) in the To: field in Mail Section.

You can also cc: and bcc: using the Additional headers: field in Mail Section – see Adding Cc, Bcc and Other Mail Headers.

I did all that previously. It’s just not sending to anyone but the first one and that address has to be the address in WP settings.

    Thanks anyway!

Are you using the proper formatting, “Cc:” rather than “cc:”? I don’t know if it makes a difference, but it’s possible.
